Friends of Sprinker is a group of Sprinker users who are focused on protecting Sprinker Recreation Center and the best interests of its current and future users. We believe that it enriches our community and provides all of us with a greater quality of life.

We are interested in protecting the best interests of all Sprinker Recreation users: tennis players, softball park users, hockey players, figure skaters, ice skaters, class participants, meeting attendees, all groups alike.

We believe that the community should continue to benefit from the services that Sprinker has provided for nearly 35 years and we do not believe that Sprinker should be taken away from us because the long overdue renovation has been postponed too long by Pierce County's officials.

The unfortunate truth is that, due to the prolonged delay by Pierce County officials in providing essential maintenance for the building and its equipment, the building is failing. Without immediate attention, the building will soon fail and all of its services will be terminated.

We are asking everyone with any interest in Sprinker Recreation Center to join our fight and send our county officials a message telling them how important Sprinker Recreation Center is to YOU and how it has enriched your life or the lives of your loved ones.
